The price stays the same at renewal.
Some insurers operated a model called "price walking". The first year was competitive; each year after, the renewal quote climbed, on the assumption you wouldn’t compare or switch. Loyal customers paid significantly more than new ones for the same cover.
The FCA banned this practice in January 2022.
Revive doesn’t do this. At renewal, the price you’re quoted is the price a new customer with your profile would be quoted that day. If the price has moved, we’ll tell you why — and you can switch to a different cover level or leave without anything we’d hide from you.
Concretely: the renewal letter you get from Revive shows the price last year, the price this year, and what’s changed. If something on the policy has driven the price up, you’ll see it.
